Muse as home ops director for two weeks: bookkeeping + NAS checks
dilidaladiV2EX · 2026-10-13
Business model
The author handed bank SMS to Muse for auto categorization and balance checks, had it inspect home NAS Docker services and Cloudflare Tunnel, and add access protection to 20+ subdomains. Mostly voice commands only.
Solo operators and freelancers can hand the same back-office tasks (books, service health, domain security) to a personal agent and free time for client work.
Workflow
- Connect email/SMS and drive permissions
- Set daily bookkeeping and reconciliation rules
- Schedule container and tunnel health checks
- Require a plan before any config change
- Weekly one-page ops summary

You are my home ops assistant. Daily: 1) categorize bank SMS and reconcile balances; 2) check NAS Docker and Cloudflare Tunnel health; 3) report anomalies and suggest fixes. Ask before any external config change.
